Although the couple have chosen to keep their romance out of the spotlight, multiple sources are now revealing that they will be getting married soon. Alex recently opened up about Matt’s romantic proposal in an interview with W Magazine.
Alex described the romantic proposal: “When I got home that night my whole house was covered in candles, lights everywhere, music playing and the scavenger hunt led to Matt proposing to her.” The 28-year-old continued: ‘Mr. ‘Sexy Zoom Man’ had “photos or memorabilia” they collected during their three-year relationship displayed in every room of his shared Studio City, California residence. His arrival downstairs was greeted by his “two dogs with bow ties.” Then Kaplan “knelt down and said, ‘You are my soul mate, the love of my life. You make me better as a person. Please do me the honor and marry me,'” he said, presenting her with a massive 1920s oval-cut diamond ring. She recalls saying yes, but Alex claimed she “passed out” during the “very surreal” event on March 3.
Alex was quoted as saying, “So many marriages in my life are so unhealthy and unstable,” when asked about her plans to marry Matt. I don’t settle like many others. But as our relationship came to a head, with Matt I knew right away that I would love to marry him.
