Dawn Robinson, a former member of the EN Vogue group R&B group, told fans in a new video on YouTube that the homeless lived in his car for the last three years.
“You guys, in the last three years, have lived in my car,” Robinson said (58, on Tuesday, March 11, a video before he sighed with relief. “I said that, Oh my God, it’s out.”
The singer explained that she lives with her parents in Las Vegas in 2020. However, after a while, she decided to move out. She moved to Los Angeles at the proposal of her former manager. He suggested that he stay with him a little, but it failed, and she stayed in the hotel for eight months.
While staying at the hotel, it became difficult to find the apartment because the manager allegedly “played games” and did not approve of the places Robinson suggested that he could live. “Sometimes people want to capture you and keep you in a situation where you are vulnerable and depending on them,” she said about their dynamics. “So I got out of there.”

Then Robinson started exploring “Life of a car” and “liked what [she] saw. “She quickly decided to take advantage of the jump, and now it’s been three years since she started her” car life “and headed to Maliba, California.
“I felt freely,” she said about her decision. “I felt like I was camping. It just felt like it was right to do.”
The musician reiterated the viewers not to share this experience to gain pity.
“Not” Alas, “she said.” I’m learning about who I am. I teach myself as a person, as a woman. ”
“I miss my family. I miss everyone I was connected with. But I should have done it myself … but I had to do it for me,” she said, before discovering that her dog had passed away in the car. She “is really turned on [her] own.”

She concluded the video by telling the viewers that she would have an apartment if she could, but she was “absolutely” glad that she did. “I am proud of what I have achieved here.”

Robinson was one of the founders of the four -member group of girls En Vogue, along with Cindy Herron, Terry Ellis and Maxine Jones. The group was formed in 1989 and released their debut album, Born to singNext year. Robinson especially sang the main vocals on “My Lovin” (you will never get it), “giving him something he can feel” and “free his mind. ”
EN Vogue earned six Grammy nominations between 1991 and 1997.
Robinson left the group in March 1997 and signed with Dr. Dre Dre, astermath. She again joined En Vogue for short stays in 2005 and 2009. Robinson also starred in several movies and was part of the first season R & B Divas: Los Angeles.
