The new comedy series Freeridge will be released on Netflix on Thursday, February 2, 2023, at 3:01 a.m. ET. The show is a spin-off of On My Block, Netflix’s popular teen comedy series. It follows a group of friends as they attempt to lift a deadly curse. Bryana Salez, Keyla Monterroso Mejia and many others played key roles in the production. Lauren Iungerich, Eddie Gonzalez, Jeremy Haft, Jamie Uyeshiro and Jamie Dooner direct Freeridge.

On January 6, 2023, Netflix released the official trailer for Freeridge. It provides an insight into the lives of the four main characters, who embark on an epic journey after perhaps unknowingly unleashing a terrible curse that could ruin their lives. One of the main characters in the trailer says:
“So we bought this damn box. And now we are cursed for it.”
The trailer successfully establishes the heart of the plot while avoiding major spoilers that could spoil the viewer’s enjoyment. A quick look at the cast of Freeridge
Keyla Monterroso Mejia plays Gloria, the energetic and charming leader of the group, one of the main roles in the comedy series. She is characterized as “unfair” and extremely educated and stylish. Keyla looks amazing in this role, effortlessly bringing out the basics of her character. The audience can expect an absolutely brilliant performance from the skilled actress.
Keyla Monterroso Meijo is best known for her roles in HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm, Abbott Elementary and The Estate, among others. Bryana Salaz, who plays Ines, stars alongside Keyla in another major role. Ines is considered the least emotionally mature member of the group. Bryana performs great in the clip, getting into her character with ease.
