JERMAINE Jenas’ wife Ellie described the past three months as “incredibly difficult” as she made her first public appearance since he was sacked by the BBC.
Former Match of the Day presenter Jermaine, 41, publicly apologized to Ellie, the mother of his three children, in The Sun in August after he was sacked for sending inappropriate messages to women he worked with.

Ellie showed up without her wedding ring at the launch of her personal care brand Preppy today.
She created Preppy, a specialized collection for children and young people, with her business partner Steph Leggit.
Ellie said: “It has been an incredibly difficult and difficult time for me and my family.
“My only focus was on our children and building my Preppy brand.

“Now I just want to move forward.
“Of course this was difficult for me, but my only concern was our children and that will not change.”
Speaking at the launch in London, Ellie added: “I’ve been working on this brand for three years and it’s something I’m incredibly proud of.”
Ellie, who was joined by two of the couple’s three children at the launch in Battersea, said she did not want to discuss their 13-year marriage but said Jermaine was supportive of her decision to launch the brand.
She said: “Jermaine is excited about the job and what the future holds for me.
“He supported me in this regard as a working mother.”
Ellie, who has never courted the public and has been married to Jermaine since June 2011, launched Preppy with Steph.

The pair continued to launch their website, with talks with major retailers to stock their brands from the New Year.
Ellie said: “When I gave birth to my youngest son Jacob, who is now three, I wanted to bring out some sort of skincare for children.
“And with Steph’s experience in buying and retail for companies including Boots and Tesco, we teamed up.
“We realized that no one makes products for older children and that they steal mine more often.
“We started taking care of ourselves because, for example, there is no deodorant for children. And shower time can be pretty boring.
“My kids love it. They were like guinea pigs for each brand. “Like on the first day, every time something comes home they try it, and we changed formulas, this, that.

“Our daughter came up with the name Preppy.
“You know, on TikTok it’s like the hashtag Preppy – it’s become a cult term.
“Just like kids and teenagers want to make their room Preppy, their skin care Preppy.
On TikTok, the Preppy hashtag has more than a billion views.
“We weren’t really sure we were going to get the name either, but when we trademarked it, we got it.
“We had another name before that and now we’re like, ‘Thank God we didn’t use that. It wasn’t right.”
At the launch of Preppy, Ellie was joined by her business partner Steph to showcase the products they have been painstakingly working on for the last three years.
The couple met through their husbands and started working on the products after the birth of Ellie’s youngest son.
It was an incredibly difficult and difficult time for me and my family.
There are 15 products in the first offering of the range, which was released online today.
Tomorrow, the products – which include a body and bath wash, deodorant, wash gel and shower cream – will hit the TikTok store before being rolled out nationwide next year.
Ellie added: “Preppy launched on our website today and we are talking to stockists.
“We hope it will be in stores across the country in the New Year.
“Preppy has been our child for three years.
“This also occupied me because all the children are now in school.
“Now is the time, children, I say, ‘You’ve had me for years.’
“I used to be able to go to everything, but now I’m juggling children and meetings.
“It’s just brilliant and I enjoy it.”

The Sun first revealed Jermaine was sacked from the BBC over his behavior in March.
He was sacked in a Zoom chat with BBC bosses who read messages he sent to women on BBC Sport and The One Show, which were deemed inappropriate.
Jermaine said: “I was in shock at the time, it was a lot to process.
“But I’m married, it’s my fault.
“The main panic was that I could lose my family.
“There is something in me that prays that there is some level of mercy or understanding of the fact that we are human beings and we all make mistakes, some more than others, and mine is a big mistake.”
He said of his wife: “Ellie is absolutely furious.
“She is human.
“When I see her now, she’s just making sure the kids are okay.”
Jermaine insisted he did nothing illegal and said his actions were unwise.
He apologized if he made the women he texted feel uncomfortable.
