Molly-Mae breaks down in tears revealing exact moment she ended relationship with Tommy Fury – saying ‘I still love him’

MOLLY-MAE Hague broke down in tears as she revealed the toll Tommy Fury’s drinking took on their relationship – before admitting she still loves him.

The influencer, 25, sobs on camera as she admits she “begged and begged” the boxer not to get drunk on her sister’s wedding day – and “doesn’t remember” the times his drinking didn’t end in “disaster.”

The emotional moment takes place in the first episode of her new documentary, Molly Mae: Behind It All, now available on Prime Video.

Speaking to her mum, Debbie, in the £3.5million mansion she shared with Tommy, Molly reveals the full extent of her behind-the-scenes struggle as their five-year relationship crumbled.

“He wanted to have a family life, but also the life of a 25-year-old young man without obligations, and the two do not go hand in hand,” she says.

“He never had a problem with alcohol, alcohol simply caused us problems. It got to the point where I wasn’t really looking forward to anything because the alcohol was affecting it so much.”

And when her mom admits that she can “name only a few instances where he’s had a little bit of alcohol and it didn’t lead to anything catastrophic,” Molly retorts, “I can’t think of any.”

A sobbing Molly then admits that even her memories of her sister Zoe’s wedding day last July were marred by Tommy’s drinking, saying: “At my sister’s wedding I was literally begging him, begging him not to drink. And… it’s really sad… I don’t know why I’m crying now. That is so sad. It just affected me.”

Molly and Tommy met on Love Island in 2019 – and had baby Bambi in January 2023.

Six months later, they got engaged in a romantic proposal – and planned to marry this year.

And in the long-awaited documentary, Molly admits that she didn’t want to end her relationship with her fiance – but she had to.

“I’m not breaking up with him because I don’t love him anymore, I’m breaking up with him because he didn’t give me any other choice,” says Zoe.

“Even during the last year, I was much more aware of the things that were happening, which for so long I was naive and I still don’t think I know the whole picture,” she adds.

Tommy and Molly’s shock split happened in August last year when she released a statement on Instagram, telling fans: “Never in a million years did I think I’d have to write this.

“After five years of living together, I never imagined that our story would end, especially not in this way.”

He was later accused of cheating on her with a ‘blonde foreigner’ on a bachelor holiday in Macedonia – which Tommy has repeatedly denied.

The boxer admitted yesterday that alcohol and partying were behind his split, saying: “We broke up because I had a problem with alcohol and I could no longer be the partner I wanted to be.

In the documentary, Molly avoids any mention of cheating, but tells the camera, “The rumors that were going around at the time were like, a lot.

“People who are very close to me have been sending me messages saying ‘I’m so sorry that someone got pregnant, I’m really sorry to hear that she’s with that person’, and I was like, where is that coming from?

“It was a build-up and a lot of times it was a last-chance situation – there’s only so much you can take.

“You don’t really have a choice. You have to do what you have to do. I decided I didn’t have another night in me, lying in bed feeling upset.

“I will not do this again. It was a situation if I don’t publish this statement [on Instagram]I won’t do it. I won’t leave. Unless I throw this out – it has to happen.”

Timeline of Molly-Mae and Tommy Fury’s split

After five years together, Molly-Mae and Tommy Fury split in August 2024.

At around 4pm on Wednesday 14 August, Molly-Mae and Tommy have an explosive showdown and Molly-Mae announces she is splitting from fiance Tommy Fury, saying ‘I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way’.

An hour later, Tommy makes a separate and brief statement confirming that they have split up and thanking Molly-Mae for making him a ‘daddy’.

The real reason behind their split emerges and on Thursday 15 August The Sun reveals how Molly-Mae found out Tommy had been cheating on her – leading to an explosive showdown.

On Saturday, August 17, The Sun reveals how Molly-Mae was sent a disturbing video showing Tommy kissing a girl in a nightclub in North Macedonia on a bachelor’s holiday.

Exactly one week after the split, the Danish woman accused of getting close to Tommy speaks to The Sun. On Wednesday, August 21, she denies being the girl who kissed Tommy.

The couple have continued to raise baby Bambi together, but Molly admits she is struggling.

At one point in the show, she loses her temper and hangs up on Tommy, telling him “I can’t have this conversation,” and at another she Facetimes him to talk him out of sending her videos of Bambi’s ballet session.

“Everything is so fresh and I feel really traumatized by the last few months,” he tells his mom. “And when I see him, I see all that trauma. I’m angry with him and I’m very hurt, I can’t help it.

“I think he hopes that in the future we will be together again as a family. Obviously I never wanted Bambi to come from a broken home because I did.”

But apparently things are not over between them yet. Yesterday, Tommy revealed that he has beaten his battle with drink and is back on track, while Molly admits in the documentary: “What helps me is the hope that Tommy and I will end up together again.”
