Footage taken by a pedestrian and posted on X shows the knife-wielding attacker confronting a pair of brave bystanders in the street.
Brave onlookers shouted at him to “put him away”, saying: “You see.
“You think you’re a f****** tough man with a knife?
“Go away.”
The bandit appeared to lunge at the two with his weapon before saying anything in response, but it was muffled by his mask.
He then turned to leave, placing both knives in one hand so he could make an obscene gesture with the other.
The person holding the camera yelled after him: “I would fuck everyone.”
The video circulated widely on social networks, and the man caused universal scorn from commentators.
One person claimed on Facebook that the incident happened in front of their grandchildren’s school and that the students were sent home for the day.

‘What are zombie knives and when were they banned in the UK?’

Knives are officially defined as a blade longer than eight inches (20.32 cm) with a sharp point and a straight cutting edge, plus or serrated edge, more than one hole in the blade, a spike, or more than two sharp points.
Government ministers have promised to crack down on knives, the blades of which can be up to two meters long.
In September, “zombie-style knives” and “zombie-style machetes” were banned in England and Wales, making it an offense to possess, make, transport or sell a wide range of “statement” knives favored by criminal groups.
However, knives and machetes are still available to buy online, some for less than £20, more than a month after they were banned in England and Wales.
The BBC News investigative team was able to buy four knives from online retailers with British websites, two of which were shipped from overseas.
The Border Force is responsible for scanning international mail suspected of containing drugs, firearms, knives and counterfeit or duty-unpaid goods – but not every package is checked.
Zombie knives earned their nickname because they mimic weapons often seen in horror movies, especially “zombie apocalypse” movies.
Weapons can often have jagged edges and words carved into them, helping to glamorize violence.
