NIT Rourkela Recruitment 2023: 1534 Job Offers, 330 Companies, Highest Package Rs. 50 LPA

NIT Rourkela 2022-23 slots: National Institute of Technology, Rourkela has finalized slots for the 2022-23 season. According to this organization, NIT Roukela received the most job offers, 1534 from 330 companies.

Programs such as the BTech in Electrical, Electronic and Instrumentation Engineering and Ceramic Engineering as well as the Dual Degree in Mining Engineering and Ceramic Engineering have seen 100% of students enrolled in placements. More than 350 internships are also offered with a top stipend of Rs. 1.5 thousand per month.

According to the published announcement, more than 95% of students from top B.Tech programs have been placed. 24 students were offered a payment package of more than Rs. 50,000 per year (LPA) of which eight received the highest bid of Rs. 52.89 LPA. The average salary also increased to Rs. 12.95 lakh in positions taken. The average CTC offered to B.Tech students is Rs. 14.22 lac.

According to the submitted data, a total of 1,474 students applied for internships in various fields. More than 80% of the registered students of the integrated Master’s program were booked with a 51% increase over the previous season. The position record in all branches is 88%.

Graduate students have also had successful internships. A total of 71.86% positions were obtained in all M.Tech industries. The growth of positions in different faculties is as follows – 96.22% of students in the Faculty of Electronics and Communication, 90% in the Faculty of Industrial Design and 86.96% in the Faculty of Computers and Engineering.

NIT Rourkela Position – Position by Industry

According to the published employment report, sectors such as software and IT services became the top employers with 31.1% of total employment. Companies like Microsoft, Amazon and AWS, Hotstar, SAP Labs etc are the best employers.

Following is Core Engineering with a total of 26.8% hiring from companies like Shell, Schlumberger, ExxonMobil, TATA Steel, John Deere, etc.

Analytics and consulting came in third with 15.3% of hires including companies like Deloitte, PwC, Decimal Point Analytics, O9 Solutions and Kantar.

Other sectors with hiring include electronics, finance, education, design and healthcare from companies such as Navi, Cashfree, Mathworks, American Express, Qualcomm, Texas Instruments, Wells Fargo, ITC Limited, Britannia, HUL and others.
