Police officer, school bus driver killed in accident
Both victims of the accident were described as dedicated professionals and loving family men. Dave Stewart’s obituary stated that he was a loving husband and a loving father of four children. Before starting work as a school bus driver, Dave Stewart was a mechanic. He has been driving a school bus for the past 12 years. He loved fishing, Nascar and the NFL. Langs Bus Lines Vice President Kevin Langs said, “He will be missed by all whose lives he touched, here in Langs and in the school communities he served. Our thoughts are with his family, friends and colleagues at this extremely difficult time.” The other victim of the accident has been identified as OPP officer Steven Tourangeau, an OPP resident of Perth district.
