A five -star singer Stedman Pearson died at the age of 60.
The Stedman music icon shot fame in the 80s when his brother and sisters founded a British pop and R&B group.

Stedman was the oldest of the five siblings, and studied dance and fashion in college before he started his career in music.
In 1983, Stedman, at the time, joined his brother and teenage sisters to make five stars.
They were made in the music group by their dad Buster Pearson, a former recording artist, who wanted to create the next Jackson 5.
Five stars scored a series of chart hits, including the system addicts, I can’t wait another minute and rain or shine.
From 1985 to 1988 they had four Top 20 albums and 15 Top 40 singles while raising themselves quickly and became the name of the household.
The hit group also won the Brit 1987 Award for Best British Group.
In addition to performing the accompanying vocals, Stedman’s interest in dance and fashion would also play an integral role in the group.
Somman and his siblings were known for the glamorous picture, characteristic appropriate costumes and choreographed dance routines.
He started designing some clothes that would ultimately become a trademark for a trademark.
Great costumes, along with their synchronized dance routines, often led to comparison with Jackson Five.

Friends and fans quickly paid tribute to Stedman after sad news.
One wrote: “It is sad to hear that the lovely Stedman Pearson passed away. I knew Steemman in Noughties when he would often descend into heaven where I was dj’d.
“He was such a sweet gentle person and always the smell of divine. I once commented that and the next week came to see me with a huge and very expensive bottle of Kelna as a gift. He was beautiful.
“Sleep a good Stedman and once again – thanks for my Cologne. I still have a bottle!”
Another said, “Rip Somman Pearson Aka with five stars, my beautiful friend, I will always remember the laughter we have shared and the dream you have made.
“Gone too early, but never forgot to live forever in my heart and heritage with 5 stars/Somman you left to all of us to enjoy forever thank you with all my heart. Love you more !!!”
Five stars became the youngest group to ever surpass the British charts, as well as the first black group to top the list in the UK.
But in 1995, the group went separately, but they reunited.
The group decreased to the 2001 trio, but Stedman continued to perform with the Denise and Lorraine sisters until 2006.

Five stars gathered again in 2012 before he last called him Dan.
Since the band split Sterdman, he diversified himself and had numerous jobs, including running a sedan rental service and as a dance teacher.
In 2006, he finished third at the All Star Talent Show Channel 5.
He also appeared as a competitor at the BBC celebrity scissors in 2008.
Stedman’s Twitter has said that he is a solo artist for recording and continues to engage strongly in the world of fashion.
