Authorities escorted King through airport security, but he was able to elude them, flee the terminal and return to the demilitarized zone separating North and South Korea. There, according to the officials, King, who was dressed casually, participated in a tour of the Korean border settlement of Panmunjom. The king reportedly laughed out loud before running between two buildings and finally entering North Korea, according to tour group participants who described the events in a since-deleted Facebook post.
