Some monsters in the Godzilla franchise never win a fight, despite their awesome appearance and abilities.
Many monsters in the Godzilla universe have been victorious in battle, sometimes even defeating Godzilla himself.
Monsters such as Ebira, Hedorah, Titanosaurus, Baragon, Varan, Manda, Megalon, Olga, Megaguirus, and Gigan are all suffering in battles with Godzilla or other monsters loss.
No matter how powerful they may seem, some monsters in the Godzilla franchise never win a battle. Whether it’s because they always face off against the King of Monsters or because the conditions are inherently unfair, many monsters have never tasted victory. For some, they only had one chance to defeat Godzilla and failed.
Due to the sheer number of Godzilla movies, and all the intense battles involved in them, most monsters in the Godzilla universe have been victorious in battle at some point. Sometimes, these victories are against Godzilla himself, even if he ultimately wins in a later rematch. In other cases, they were victorious simply because Godzilla was on their side, such as when he teamed up with Anguirus, Jaguar, and King Caesar. Meanwhile, the seven Toho monsters will have to wait a while before they get their first win in a Godzilla movie.
10 ebira
introduced in Ebira, the horror of the abyss, Ibira had three chances to defeat Godzilla, but failed. In the first 1966 film, the Lobster Monster was at a disadvantage in both of his battles with Godzilla. Any advantage Ebira gained in the ocean was not to its advantage. 38 years later, Ibira fights Godzilla again Godzilla: Final Wars, the former has Hedorah as an ally. Clearly, this teamwork didn’t improve their odds. Godzilla handles both with ease.
9 Hedorah
Before losing the game with Ebirah Godzilla: Final Wars, During the Showa era, Hedorah proved to be an interesting challenge to Godzilla. Known as the “Smoke Monster,” the pollution-eating alien loses ground to Godzilla early in the film, but becomes increasingly difficult to deal with as the story progresses. Its malleability and ability to resist most forms of damage, including Godzilla’s atomic breath, complicate efforts to stop it. While Godzilla did try hard to stop Hedorah, he never lost to the creature. When humans discovered that Hedorah was susceptible to electric shock, Godzilla used this discovery to kill Hedorah.
8 Titanosaurus
Titanosaurus, an aquatic monster with a seemingly docile lifestyle, makes his first and only live-action appearance in Titanosaurus. The Terror of Mechagodzilla. He would normally have no reason to fight Godzilla due to his peaceful tendencies, but he was mind-controlled by an alien. Godzilla won the first round on limited difficulty, but faced greater difficulty when he had to fight Titanosaurus and Mechagodzilla at the end of the movie. Considering Mechagodzilla is one of the greatest villains in the history of the Godzilla franchise, it’s a testament to his level of power that Godzilla was able to defeat two monsters at the same time without the help of other monsters.
7 Baragon
first appeared in Frankenstein vs BaragonThe four-legged, horned monster is remembered for its iconic ability to dig underground. The main villain in the 1965 film, Baragon used his digging abilities to cause trouble for Frankenstein’s monster, played by Toho, but was ultimately killed in the battle.Baragon reimagined as a resident of Monster Island Destroy all monsters Godzilla leads his fellow monsters in battle against Ghidorah. But interestingly, Baragon doesn’t get credit for defeating Ghidorah because he was one of three monsters who didn’t take part in the battle (the other two being Manda and Varan).
Baragon did not appear again until 2001 Godzilla, Mothra, King Ghidorah: Behemoths attack in full force. In the movie, Baragon, Mothra, and Ghidorah are recast as a trio of guardian angels sent to protect the world from Godzilla. Baragon was the first to fight the King of Monsters, dying after suffering a devastating beating from Godzilla.
6 Varan
Another monster who has never achieved any victories is Varan; Incredible Varan. The reason is simple: Toho never pitted Valan against other monsters.He only fought with the army Incredible Varan and did not participate in the battle Destroy all monsters. At various points in the series’ history, Toho thought about having Varan fight Godzilla, but the idea never came to fruition.
5 manda

4 megalons
Megalon, giant cockroach monster Godzilla vs. Megalon, found a capable ally in Gigan, but still failed to achieve victory. The battle begins as a fierce battle between Megalon and Jaguar, but becomes more challenging when Gigan joins the villains’ side. Megaron and Ji-Gon would have won, but Godzilla arrived to even the score. Thanks to his timely intervention, both villains were forced back.And Yoshioka returns to the fight in Godzilla and Mothra Godzilla: Final WarsAfter that, Megalon never appeared again.
3 Olga
The movie opens with a mysterious villain in the form of an alien spaceship Godzilla 2000 After absorbing Godzilla’s DNA, he evolved into a dangerous creature called Olga. Had the monster completed its transformation, it might have been able to defeat Godzilla, but Godzilla stopped the process and killed Olga, allowing Olga to devour his body.
