Zach Braff is a well-known actor, director and screenwriter who rose to fame with the medical comedy Scrubs, which aired from 2001 to 2010. In 2005, he received a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series. as three Golden Globe nominations for his role in the program.
Zach Braff started dating Florence Pugh in 2019. Florence Pugh is known for her successful appearances in Ari Aster’s folk-horror Midsommar (2019), Greta Gerwig’s period drama Little Women (2019), and Marvel Studios’ Black Widow (2019). (2021).
The social media relationship between Florence Pugh and Zach Braff began in 2018 when Braff took to Twitter to praise Pugh for her performance in the historical play Lady Macbeth. 1) He loves dogs.
Zach Braff is a big dog lover. Roscoe Braff, his adopted dog, died in 2020. He and his partner at the time, Florence Pugh, adopted a dog named Billie from the Labelle Foundation, an animal rescue organization based in Los Angeles, during the COVID-19 outbreak in April 2020. They ultimately decided to officially adopt Billie. In an April 2020 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Braff mentioned adopting Billie. He stated:
“We believed we were going to adopt this puppy, but we did something I had no idea was called a ‘failure to adopt’.” And, of course, we said, ‘We’re never going to get this dog back,’ after 30 seconds of holding it. I joke that we should have called it serotonin because it makes me so happy.”
2) He is an authorized pilot.
‘Zach Braff has a pilot’s license. He took flying lessons because he was a terrible flyer. He reportedly got hooked on aviation after taking flying lessons. Braff noted in an interview with Ellen:
“It’s ideal for a neurotic Jew.” I started it because I developed a fear of flying and believed that knowing how it worked would help me relax – now I’m addicted. Calms your mind; when you’re thinking a lot and your brain is constantly working, it has to stop so you can concentrate.”
3) He’s close with his Scrubs co-star Donald Faison.
Like their on-screen characters Turk and JD, Zach Braff and his Scrubs co-star Donald Faison are great friends. They even booked a room in New York and lived together as roommates after the first season of Scrubs. Apparently they spent the summer playing table tennis in their underwear.
Faison met his wife Cacee Cobb during Braff’s 30th birthday party in 2005, and they married in 2012 in Braff’s backyard in a stunning rustic ceremony, with Braff serving as best man. Braff is also godfather to their two sons, Rocco and Wilder. During the Covid-19 outbreak, Braff and Faison teamed up electronically to produce a podcast series called Fake Doctors, Real Friends, in which they recounted their memories and situations from Scrubs. They reunited to play neighbors in a T-Mobile Super Bowl 2022 commercial.
