  1. First, go to Current.com in your browser and click the ‘Login’ button.

  1. On the AT&T login page, scroll down and click “Create Now”

Click Create One Now

  1. You then need to choose a user ID for yourself, including a domain other than ‘@currently.com’ or ‘@att.net’. Then you have to enter your first name, last name, age and finally click ‘Continue’.

Select User ID, Domain, enter first name, last name, click Continue

  1. You must then enter your mobile phone number, zip code, and alternate email to protect your account; click ‘Send code’.

Enter your mobile phone number, zip code, alternate email and click Submit Code

  1. Enter the code you received and click ‘Continue’.
  2. Enter the information required to create your new AT&T email address and password.
  3. Fill in your profile information along with security questions and answers.
  4. Follow the onscreen instructions to create your new AT&T account.

AT&T Email Registration Process

Signing into your AT&T account isn’t rocket science, and it’s just a matter of a few steps. Here are the simple steps to follow to successfully log into an AT&T email account:

  1. First, go to the att.net email login page
  2. Go to the att.net login page

  3. Enter your AT&T User ID
  4. Enter your at&t User ID

  5. Enter the password
  6. Enter your AT&T email password

  7. Finally, click ‘Login’
  8. Click the Sign In button

Most AT&T customers use their email accounts by setting them up for Outlook. You can also set up your AT&T account in Outlook if you want to manage your email in one place.

So if you are going to set up your AT&T email for the first time in Outlook, you need to follow these steps:

  1. Start Outlook, then click File > Add Account.
  2. Then select Manual configuration or additional server types.
  3. Choose POP or IMAP.
  4. Enter the required user data:
  • Write your name as you want it to appear to others
  • Enter your full AT&T email address.
  1. Then fill in the server information:
  • Account type: select IMAP or POP3
  • Incoming mail server: Enter imap.mail.att.net (IMAP) or inbound.att.net (POP3).
  • Outgoing mail server: Enter smtp.mail.att.net (IMAP) or outbound.att.net (POP3).
  1. Enter login information:
  • Username: Enter your full email address.
  • Password: Enter or paste your secure email password.
  • Check ‘Remember password’ and ‘Require login using strong password authentication’.
  1. Click on “More settings”.
  2. Enter the outgoing server information:
  • Check My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.
  • Select Use the same settings as my incoming mail server.
  1. Finally, you must complete the Advanced Information:
  • Incoming Server: Enter 993 (IMAP) or 995 (POP3).
  • Use the following type of encrypted connection: select SSL.
  • Outgoing Server: Enter 465 (IMAP and POP3).
  • Use the following type of encrypted connection: select SSL.
  1. Click OK and then Next.
  2. Outlook will verify and confirm your account information. If all goes well, select Finish.

Problems signing in to AT&T Mail

  1. Choose between ‘Security Question’ and ‘Temporary Password’
  2. Follow the onscreen instructions to change the password for your AT&T email account.
