Acolyte Episode 5, “Night,” finally revealed the identity of the mysterious Sith Lord, but it also raised several new questions and left others unanswered. Star Wars Traditionally, Zmire turned out to be the incarnation of this Sith Lord, just as Palpatine was the incarnation of Darth Sidious in the prequel trilogy. While this reveal answers one of the biggest questions about the Sith Lord and provides new information, it highlights how much audiences still don’t know. It creates more mysteries to be solved in the remaining episodes, which may be related to other plot threads.
Besides making the obvious problem more urgent, Acolyte Episode 5 also raises some questions that wouldn’t have been considered before. Certain details bring up some fascinating possibilities that could make the story more interesting and take the season in unexpected directions. 6 How did the Sith Lord know the Sun Master?

Although it has been confirmed that the Sith Lord knows who Master Thor is, Acolyte It is implied that they have met before. This means that the Sith Lord is targeting Thor not just because of his relationship with May, but because he holds a grudge for something that happened in the past. However, the Sith Lord does not seem to hold the same anger and hatred towards Thor that May does, or he hides it better. Thor says that he sensed something familiar in the Sith Lord, but only recognized him as the one who provided May with the poison before.
One explanation is that a Sith Lord was present the night Osha and May’s family were killed. The show claims that May was responsible for the fire while hinting that it was actually the work of the Jedi, but what if it was a Sith Lord? Just as Thor saved Osha, the Sith could have saved May from falling to her death, claiming that the Jedi were responsible so that he could turn her into an acolyte. Thor and the Sith Lord’s history could be completely unrelated, but tying the characters together would make the story make more sense since there are only a few episodes left.
5. Did the Sith Lord learn anything from Osha and May’s coven?
The Sith Lords may also be connected to the coven of Osha and May, of whom Osha was a student. When Yord Fandar describes to Osha how a Sith Lord can enter a person’s mind, Osha points out that her mother can do the same. This may be a simple comparison, as Star Wars Previous movies and TV shows have featured Sith Lords and other dark side users going into people’s heads. However, this could be a deliberate foreshadowing of the Sith Lord’s history with the Coven, explaining some of his more advanced Force abilities and why he’s generally so powerful.
Osha and May’s coven is very secretive and highly suspicious of outsiders, but revealing their past relationship with the Sith Lord could explain why. Perhaps when he showed enthusiasm for learning their ways and his equal disdain for the Jedi, they agreed to teach him, but they soon realized what he intended to do with their knowledge. This could explain why the Sith Lord sought out May as his assistant and provide him with a motive to kill the coven. He might even use his newfound ability to enter people’s heads to force May into ignition.
4 Why Does This Sith Lord Have No Name?

Although he used the alias “Qimir”, Hasbro’s Black Series also called him “The Stanger”, AcolyteThe Sith Lord of the Sith claims to have no name. This is highly unusual for a Sith, as they are usually very proud to choose a new name that reflects their new dark side personality. Palpatine became Darth Sidious, Count Dooku became Darth Tyranus, and Anakin Skywalker became Darth Vader. Even Ben Solo, who embraced the dark side but was not a Sith Lord, chose the name Kylo Ren, abandoning his former identity, so why wouldn’t this Sith Lord do the same?
He may have a secret Sith title but no last name, similar to Han Solo in Solo: A Star Wars Story or Rey Star Wars Sequel Trilogy. If he was a Sith apprentice, his Master may have chosen not to give him a formal name until he proved himself worthy. A more unusual reason would be for a Sith Lord to deliberately refuse any name or title as a way to completely shed his humanity and become a vessel for the Dark Side. However, there may be a simpler explanation for him not having a Sith name.
3. Is “Chimir” really a Sith Lord?

It is worth noting that “Qimir” may not be a true Sith Lord, but just a dark side user. When Thor asks what Qimir is, he specifically says “…You might call me a Jedi… a Sith.” This is not a confirmation that he is a Sith, just an acknowledgement that the Jedi would label him a Sith. It could also mean that he is not a descendant of Darth Baine’s Sith bloodline, but claims to be a Sith. You dress like a Sith, fight like a Sith, but this can be imitated. You lack one important quality in a Sith. A Sith is fearless. And I sense a lot of fear in you.
By this logic, looking and fighting like a Sith does not necessarily prove that a character is a Sith. Supreme Leader Snoke and Kylo Ren are not technically Sith Lords. Star Wars He is a member of the Sequel Trilogy, despite his similar behavior to them and his secret connection to Palpatine and the Sith Eternals. There is evidence that this so-called Sith Lord may be a member of the Knights of Ren, an order whose origins have yet to be fully explored. His appearance is certainly consistent with the Knights of Ren, and musical cues similar to Kylo Ren’s theme can be heard in this episode.
2 Who is the Sith Lord’s master?

If Qimir is indeed a Sith Lord, then he is either a master or an apprentice, which raises the question of who his master is or was. Acolyte The series tells the story of Darth Tenebrous, who was trained by Palpatine’s master, Darth Plagueis. Star Wars In the Legends timeline, if Plagueis failed to become an apprentice, Tenebrous would have trained another student, so it is feasible that he would have become Zimierre’s master. AcolyteIf the Sith Lord is an original character, then his master is likely to be an original character as well.
However, it’s possible that Zmyr’s master has passed away, and the show has revealed almost nothing about him. Zmyr is definitely powerful enough to be a Sith Master, from levitating in the air and controlling his powers so well that it looks like he’s flying, to dueling with an entire group of Jedi. If Zmyr wasn’t a true Sith Lord, the real Sith might come and kill him for jeopardizing their secrets. This could also be the case if Zmyr was a Sith, as he might have rejected the ways of the Bane Sith and forged his own path, and his master would have killed him for it.
1 Will the Sith Lord make Osha his new acolyte?

Acolyte Episode 5 ends with the Sith Lord standing over an unconscious Osha, and it seems like he wants her to become his new student. After all, the show is called AcolyteMay has severed ties with her former Master. The Sith Lord also makes it clear that being free to use his power without interference is his primary motivation, and that he believes he needs a student to do that. He has had multiple opportunities to kill Osha, even pointing a lightsaber at her in Episode 4, but he shows a keen interest in her.
He could use her past trauma with May to fuel her anger and her falling out with the Jedi Order to instill resentment, both of which are starting points for a move toward the dark side. However, whatever secret Thor has been keeping, it’s the only thing that could truly change Osha, especially if he’s responsible for the death of her family. The Jedi haven’t seen the last of this Sith Lord yet. Acolytegiving the show time to answer at least some of these questions.
