90 Day Fiancé: Bright Red Flags in Danielle & Yohan’s Relationship

90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way stars Daniele Gates and Yohan Geronimo have been married for over a year, but the duo has some bright red flags in their relationship. After Daniele struggled to find the love of her life, she took a step back from dating. She focused on her career and traveling, but little did she know she would find the man for her in the Dominican Republic. Despite their 10-year age difference, the duo connected instantly. Unfortunately, they did face some trouble along the way. Daniele, being a spiritual woman, believed their relationship would have some turmoil they needed to overcome.

From a language barrier to believing her partner might be scamming her for a green card, the 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 4 star Daniele was worried about the fate of their relationship. Nonetheless, Daniele and Yohan married, and she returned to New York. After being separated from her husband for almost a year and living an incredibly expensive life in the U.S., Daniele decided it was time to move to the Dominican Republic. However, there are a few hurdles the couple has to bear if they want their relationship to stand the test of time.

Daniele Gates Lied About The Spousal Visa

Now that Yohan and Daniele are married, she’s more than ready to begin their life together. However, she hasn’t been entirely truthful with her husband. Daniele has closed up shop and intends to move to the DR for the long haul. Although The Other Way star Yohan has been adamant about living long-term in the U.S., Daniele hasn’t even applied for the spousal visa, nor did she tell Yohan the truth about how long she truly intends to stay in the DR. Daniele isn’t being truthful with her husband which is a huge red flag in any relationship.

Daniele Gates Is Passive Aggressive

After running her own business for several years, Danielle has some knowledge about small businesses and becoming an entrepreneur. Unfortunately, Yohan isn’t interested in listening to Danielle’s advice. After seeing his new butcher shop covered in flies and outside in the scorching Dominican Republic heat, Danielle was taken aback by his efforts. In an attempt to get him to see her point of view and how careless he can be with money, she tried to teach him some basics while ending the argument by announcing that she was, in fact, his “wife.”

Daniele Gates Has No Plan For Moving Forward In DR

The Other Way‘s Daniele left behind four jobs and a $4000 apartment to move in with Yohan. This also meant she gave up the opportunity of having a $15,000 pension increase by leaving a year before the cutoff. When she was asked by her friends how she planned to make ends meet and live a happy life in DR, she declared she would “manifest it.” While her efforts may be fruitful, it would certainly be more realistic to have a more solid financial backup plan when moving to another country.

Daniele Gates & Yohan Geronimo Have a Language Barrier

Daniele’s Spanish is pretty good, as the couple seems to communicate effectively when she talks to Yohan. Unfortunately, when it comes to English, that’s a different story. It’s clear The Other Way star Yohan struggles to understand Daniele when she speaks English, and it appears she may use that to her advantage. After her arrival, she told the 90 Day Fiancé cameras the truth about not wanting to return to New York. Yohan, dumbfounded, replied with a “huh,” to which Daniele simply laughed off. While language barriers are normal on the 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, it would be more appropriate for her to talk to her husband, not around him.
