A job interview goes awry when Natalie makes things personal, and a dinner party becomes the perfect career opportunity for an aspiring actress
90 day: single lifeNatalie Mordovtseva is looking for a job, no matter what it takes.
On Monday night’s episode, a Ukrainian woman was given two chances to impress potential employers by her boyfriend Josh Weinstein — though Josh realized he only gave her one. A model from LA arranged for Natalie to interview for a receptionist position where Natalie’s boss would be his cousin. What followed was perhaps one of the strangest interviews broadcast on television.
“When Josh called me about this interview, I was a little taken aback, a little surprised that they’re still working together,” Josh’s cousin Adam told the cameras. “But it has to work. Apparently she lives in LA and needs a job. And I’m hiring.”
Natalie went through her work history, starting with her previous employment in a bookstore. When asked what the people who know Natalie best would say about her, she admitted, “Josh would say I’m needy.”

Adam was surprised by the “honest” answer. Natalie then changed the subject.
“I feel a little awkward because I’m so excited that you’re Josh’s cousin, and sorry to get a little personal, but have you met the mother of his second child?” she asked.
Adam said he didn’t and tried to steer the conversation away from Josh’s personal life, admitting that he usually “stays away” from it.
TLC then cut to the confessional with Adam bluntly saying, “It’s weird.” He recapitulated the whole experience, saying, “This is the first interview I’ve done with one, without a resume, and two, where part of the interview is about my cousin, Josh. It should all be between Natalie and Josh.”
It’s still unknown if Natalie received a job offer, but based on the response, backup interviews seem like a good idea.

Later, Josh, Natalie and her mother hosted a dinner for a couple Josh knows well. The man is a Hollywood producer, which meant that Natalie – who dreams of being an actress – had to show off her acting skills.
She startled the other four dinner guests with an impromptu Shakespearean monologue and committed herself to the Russian-language scene with what appeared to be a vengeance. She received a standing ovation from the performance and an offer to audition for one of the man’s future productions.
“I wasn’t expecting a Shakespearean soliloquy in the middle of dinner, but it took guts for her to do that,” Josh later said on camera. “To go out and actually do it in front of the table, in front of everybody, you know, pour it out. And tonight she was a real actress.”
Natalie ended the night delighted – both with Josh and with her new opportunity for a real acting career.
