90 Day: Shekinah Forgives Sarper for Ripping Out Her Hair Extensions Despite Saying She Won't 'Tolerate This Disrespect'

Shekinah and Sarper come face to face for the first time since he ripped out her hair extensions during the fight.

In the episode of September 9 90 Day Fiancé: Another Way, Shekinah agreed to meet Sarper at the cafe after spending the previous few nights in a hotel. When the two sat down, Sarper began to grumble, which made Shekinah even more upset.

“I can’t sleep,” he told her. “I’m taking sleeping pills and I’m just waking up. I’m constantly thinking.”

“I don’t care about all your illnesses that are the result of your actions,” she cut him off.

When Sarper asked Shekinah why she doesn’t “feel sorry for me,” she shot back and asked why he expected her to feel sorry for him when he should “feel sorry for what you did.”

A few nights before, the couple had had a big fight after Shekinah told Sarper that she wanted a vanity, but not the one he had chosen for her.

“Sarper, you ripped my hairpiece off my head,” she said. “Have you ever once asked me if my head is okay?”

Shekinah went on to say that it didn’t matter if he said it was an “accident” because “every time I see a side of you that’s angry, it changes the way I see you.”

“Eventually my emotions and feelings for you will change completely,” Sarper warned. “And I don’t want it to happen, but I’m just telling you it can happen in one night.”

Sarper then admitted that he had “overreacted” and was stressed about their future. He said he had to tell his family that he had applied for a K-1 fiance visa to move to the United States and was waiting to see what would happen next, prompting his whipping out.

“Help me, show me the way,” Shekinah begged, but she answered, “No. You are a grown man.”

“I feel so stupid to be here,” she added. “I feel like I was wrong and I feel like all my friends and family were right.”

Sarper then said he didn’t want to “throw a year away,” but Shekinah expressed how hurt she was by his anger issues.

“Love is not enough,” she said through tears.

She then recalled her past relationship with a man she described as “perfect” but had a “bad temper” that made her afraid of him. Comparing it to her relationship with Sarper, he said it made him “regret” their fights even more.

“She had to tell me, but I never let her tell me the past,” he said in his confessional. “And it’s my fault.”

“I love you more than myself,” Shekinah said then.

Deciding to forgive him, Shekinah claimed that their relationship would be over if he showed her a bad side to him again.

“Sarper is 43 years old and has never been held accountable for his actions in a relationship,” she said on camera. “It will end here. He’s lucky that I love him enough to give him a second chance.”

She also admitted that she is weary about her decision considering that she has had toxic relationships in the past that she vowed to learn from.

“I give it up, and I also do it because I’m a mother and I’m always thinking about what would be okay for my daughter to allow herself,” she said. “And I would never want her to tolerate this kind of disrespect.”

Shekinah later insisted that Sarper go to therapy with her, alone, in order to control his emotions, as he had promised to do everything that concerned her.

“I want to believe that he can do it,” she said. “The way he can show me he’s learned anything is by changing, and I think he will if he loves me as much as he says he does.”
