Liz is still reeling after “Big” Ed shocked her by calling off their wedding.
In PEOPLE’s exclusive sneak peek of the May 26 episode 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever AfterLiz is emotional as she talks to her mum on the phone after dropping off her daughter Ryleigh at the airport.
“I’m a little sick to my stomach,” Liz admits when her mom asks how she’s doing.
After confirming that Ryleigh is safe “on her first flight,” Liz’s mom asks if Ed even knows she’s “gone” or if he’s “even invited” to check in.
“No,” says Liz, and her mom replies, “God, what a jerk.”
Liz then gets honest about how she’s dealing with the breakup, which completely surprised her – and she found out in a message from her clerk. “This is not what I thought it would be a month ago,” she says, bursting into tears. “But everyone knew this was going to happen. And I believed it wasn’t going to happen [going to].”

Her mom assures her that she “sees why you think it’s going to work,” as Liz says things with Ed were “so different after therapy. It was completely different.”
“I know, honey. It’s going to be okay,” her mom tells her.
“It’s embarrassing, Mom. It’s so embarrassing,” Liz admits. “If I ever thought this was going to happen, I never would have included Ryleigh in this. I would. I would never have done this season. I would never have done any of this.”
Liz then shares the guilt she feels over how much the breakup will affect Ryleigh, saying, “I feel like the worst mom ever. I don’t even have a home for my kid right now.”
Even though her mom tells her she’s a “good mom,” Liz says, “I feel totally embarrassed, believing we can make it work.”

When Ed said goodbye to Liz’s daughter in the May 19 episode, he told her, “No matter what happens between your mom and me, I’ll always love you,” after apologizing to Ryleigh, who replied, “I accept your apology .”
In the confessional, he said his relationship with Ryleigh was “very special” as he spoke of his fears the breakup would affect her. He said: “I’m afraid this has negatively affected Ryleigh in any way, and it would just break my heart if it did.”
