92-Year-Old Wheel of Fortune Winner Makes Her Late Husband Proud — and Captures Vanna White’s Heart

Mother-son duo Liz and KC Wright stole hearts Wheel of Fortune viewers across his country with his outstanding performance in Tuesday’s episode.

The pair competed in this year’s “Home for the Holidays” week, when contestants are paired with a family member.

Liz, 92, dominated the competition, winning more than $65,000 in prize money plus a tropical vacation to Antigua.

“She spent the first 88 years of her life in Oklahoma with my dad,” KC said introducing his mother. “For 62 years, they traveled the world, a hundred countries and seven continents. He passed away, she moved five years ago to be with me. And I say, you know, for the first 18 years of my life, you taught me how to use a spoon, do all the things, watch Wheel of Fortune. And then, for the last five years, I managed to give her something back.”

The pair won $25,000 in prize money and a getaway to the Caribbean in the bonus round by completing puzzles including “The Adventure of a Lifetime” and “How The Grinch Stole Christmas.”

When Liz solved the “Drizzled Honey” food and drink puzzle, co-host Pat Sajak revealed she added $40,000 with her answer, rounding their total to $65,000 in cash and a vacation.

As Liz and KC celebrated their big wins, she sweetly asked her son, “OK, do you think your dad would be proud of us?”

As the episode came to a close, Sajak praised Liz for her outstanding run. “Well, you played extremely well and it was a great honor to be here,” the 77-year-old host said in his departure. “And we really appreciate you continuing to watch. And keep in touch, okay?”

White, 66, revealed to the Oklahoma native how much her performance touched her heart as she reflected on her run in a video posted on TikTok.

“Liz, I have to tell you,” she said. “You are my favorite show in 41 years. You made the show so special!”

“It couldn’t have happened without you,” Liz said.

“No, it couldn’t have happened without it your,” White insisted.
