ALO MALO Entertainment, the artist’s new agency, released a statement stating that they signed an exclusive contract with the singer. Jimin also claimed through her agency that she spent time thinking about her history. She stated that she is cautious but intends to take things slowly. Meanwhile, fans are curious about the singer’s upcoming ventures. Following allegations of harassment by former AOA member Kwon Mina, the singer left K-pop group AOA in July 2020. Due to the allegations, she stopped all artistic endeavors. The Dispatch revealed many earlier discussions between former AOA members a year later. The singer took to social media for the first time since leaving AOA to announce her new song to fans on January 8, 2022. She shared her new song Suddenly on social media, along with a two and a half minute music video clip, and stated,

The video was shot in London. She then provided a link to her SoundCloud recording. Her song had a strong feel and was completely in English. The lyrics talk about reclaiming space by saying:

Even after she left AOA, the song remained popular among fans. Jimin’s contract with AOA’s agency, FNC Entertainment, was officially terminated on January 13th. The singer, also known as Shin Ji-min, is a multi-talented performer. She is a singer, rapper and producer from Korea.
