A police officer named Sara Rogers pulled the injured homeless dog out.
The officer decided to take the dog to the vet for a checkup. She tried to find its owner, but all her efforts were in vain.
The officer kept the abandoned dog during the night shift until Kennebec Humane Society officers arrived.
She even ate with the puppy and they really enjoyed their time together. Their relationship becomes stronger and unbreakable.
