Claudia Winkleman’s Husband Kris Thykier: Relationship History
Kris Thykier and Claudia, film and television producers, married in Westminster, London in 2000. Archery Pictures was founded in 2014 by Kris Thykier. Thykier has developed and produced notable Netflix projects such as FATE: THE WINX SAGA, three seasons of RIVIERA for Sky Atlantic and the Channel 4/National Geographic short series THE STATE. Winkleman spoke about how her husband’s wild love life made her fall in love with him. Despite a demanding entertainment schedule, the 51-year-old host of Strictly Come Dancing described their relationship and how important their time together is.
The TV presenter enjoys the fact that she and Kris can make each other laugh. The famous celebrity clearly felt more in love with her spouse than ever before and revealed the moment she discovered Kris was “the one” for her. “What got me was how he behaved in restaurants, pubs and airplanes – really, just around people,” Claudia said.
“Thank you very much; please don’t hurry; I’ll bring it to you, and here, enjoy a drink at our expense,” she fell for his sweet gesture. “I married him because he keeps asking the taxi driver how his day was.”
The film reviewer also expressed her admiration for his erudition and the zeal with which he dealt with politics, history and social problems.
How many children does Claudia have? and What happened to Matilda, her daughter?
The couple have three children: Jake (born March 17, 2003), Matilda (born June 5, 2006) and Arthur (2011). Matilda suffered serious burns after her Halloween costume caught fire in 2014. Claudia said her daughter’s clothes caught fire after she brushed against a candle. She recounted the incident in 2015 and said, “I bought her clothes in a store.”
Her daughter wanted to be a witch, so she wore a witch’s hat, cape, striped tights and a long flowing skirt. When the radio host heard her daughter’s cries and noticed that she was on fire, she called someone. “She’s gone upstairs,” said Winkleman, “is the only way I know how to explain it; there was a spark and she invited me.”
“It was not Fire, as I saw; it was like those awful birthday candles that you blow out and then come back on.”
The incident prompted authorities to tighten rules for fire-resistant Halloween costumes.
