A soldier named Erich Jyri Prikko is in the forest. Man taking part in a military exercise. He is a kind man.
He noticed something hiding under a tree branch in the forest. He thought it could be a cat or a dog. But as it turned out, the elk was hopelessly left alone.
The elk is quite small and lost its mother. The animal looked to the soldier for help.
The poor deer looks very desperate. The man is sitting leaning against a tree. Those little deer befriended the man and did not leave him. Apparently the calf is looking for its mother. The little deer just wanted someone to help it. He stayed close to the man and found comfort in his closeness.
The soldier doesn’t know how to help the little deer. He took the moose to the vet, and the vet advised him to take the moose back to the woods. The man brought a bottle of milk because he doubted that his mother would come.
The soldier was with other soldiers in the camp near the elk and they were waiting to see or hear if the mother deer would come.
They heard the deer call. The next day the elk was not in the forest. The soldier rejoices when the fawn is reunited with its mother.
