Dogs are the most loyal creatures on Earth, no doubt about that. These gentle souls bring us only happiness and joy. Even though dogs offer nothing but unconditional love, millions are still left behind every year by callous owners.
While many people end up in shelters, there are still dogs that get lost and die on the streets. Fortunately, this dog was rescued in time. The confused 6-month-old puppy was walking along a busy road in Romania, Eastern Europe when volunteers from Howl Of A Dog – a rescue group – spotted the dog.
“We fear that he may panic and suddenly move and run towards the cars. He is only a few meters from a busy road with high traffic,” the group wrote. “So we waited until he was comfortable with our presence and allowed us to approach him.”
As soon as the rescue team saved the boy, the boy stole everyone’s hearts with his gesture of gratitude. In a touching scene, the dog shakes the hand of the man who saved his life.
The rescuers at Howl Of A Dog captured this amazing moment on camera. The clip has since had more than 15 million views on YouTube alone.
The puppy was then taken to the vet. There he received the proper medicine and a well-deserved bath. The saviors named him Fram. As the group later wrote in a social media post, within days the rescued puppy found an adorable adoptive family in the UK.
