At the age of 8, she became interested in badminton and started playing badminton. After her father saw her talent, he decided to give her professional badminton training. In 2009, she joined Dulgravi Shankar Stadium and trained under the guidance of coach Sanjay Mishra.

While in school, she participated in various inter-school badminton competitions. On August 24, 2014, she participated in the All India Junior Badminton Ranking Tournament held in Sivakasi, Tamil Nadu, and won her first gold medal. At the 25th Krishna Khaitan Memorial All India Youth Badminton Ranking Tournament in 2016, she won the U-17 and U-19 women’s singles double crown. She subsequently won a bronze medal at the Asian U-15 and U-17 Junior Championships in Kudus, Indonesia. She then won the U-17 and U-19 events at the 42nd National Junior Badminton Championships in Guwahati. Her best match as of 2022 was in January 2018 against Gayathri Gopichand. The match lasted 63 minutes and was held in Bangalore. She has participated in many badminton tournaments such as Sunrise All India Senior Badminton Rankings (2019), Kenya International Badminton Championships (2020), Uber Cup (2022), Asian Games (2022) and Commonwealth Games (2022) ).
