Family, Caste and Wife
His father is a businessman and his mother is a housewife. He married Nathiya Sivakumaran, a Sri Lankan Tamil girl and HR professional from the UK, on 18 November 2015. Their wedding ceremony took place at the Kalikambal temple in Parrys, Chennai and their engagement reception was held at Taj Connemara in Tamil Nadu on 17 November 2015. The couple was blessed with a daughter on 5 February 2017.

He started his career as a theatre artist and has over seven years of experience in the theatre field. He has acted in various plays with theatre groups like Magic Lantern, Theatre Nisha and Inland Theatres. He has also worked as an acting mentor in theatres and has conducted various acting workshops for many budding actors. He made his acting debut in the Tamil film Aadum Koothu (2005), which screened at several film festivals and won the National Award for Best Regional Language. He subsequently acted in many Tamil films like Rettaisuli (2010), Maalai Pozhudhin Mayakathilaey (2012), Nedunchaalai (2014), Unnodu Ka (2016), Nagesh Thiraiyarangam (2018) and Aleka (2020).
In 2020, he appeared in the popular television reality show Bigg Boss Tamil 4 hosted by famous Indian actor Kamal Haasan.
On January 17, 2021 (Sunday), he was declared the winner of “Bigg Boss Tamil 4” and received a cash prize of Rs 50 lakh and a championship trophy.

- His real name is Aari Arujunan. In an interview, he said,
People confuse my name with actors Aadhi and Arya and I get a lot of calls mistaking me for them. That’s why I want to add Arjuna after my name in the future.”
- Before starting his acting career, he worked as a fitness trainer and was good at body shaping. He has trained many Indian actors including Jeevaa, Aadhi, Sasikumar, Parthiban and Ameer. In an interview, he said,
Body sculpting is very popular abroad, and there are special coaches who make actors look closer to the age of the characters they play in movies. There are many ways to do this, but I prefer biological methods without side effects. “
