Aaron Pierre's Jennifer Hudson Show Spirit Tunnel Shuffle Goes Viral: 'He Understood the Assignment'

Aaron Pierre knows how to turn any room into a party.

Earlier this week, Show Jennifer Hudson posted a YouTube video of the actor dancing in the spirit tunnel from his appearance on the show in early December. He stopped by for a promotion Mufasa: The Lion King.

On its website, the talk show states that the ghost tunnel tradition, which consists of “two lines of people who elevate guests with song and dance moves before taking the stage,” was “inspired by how much fun JHud is having.”

Pierre, 30, who voices Mufasa The lion king prequel that hit theaters in late December, was happy to be greeted backstage as he began his trudge through the talk show hallway, grinning from ear to ear.

Dressed in black pants, a blue t-shirt and a matching leather jacket, Pierre swayed his hips as he synchronized each step to the backstage member’s hand clapping rhythm as they sang, “Aaron Pierre, it’s Mufasa.”

As he moved his arms along his body, he gave each person a high five and turned around before reaching the end of the hall and saying to the group, “Thank you!”
