Aaryaa Sharma was born on September 11 in Mumbai. Later, she moved to London with her family, where she completed her studies. After completing her formal studies, she worked as a regional manager for the Royal Bank of Scotland. Later, she decided to pursue her passion and pursue a career in acting. Therefore, she decided to quit her job and return to Mumbai to pursue her dream.

In 2022, she made her debut in the Bollywood film “Laal Singh Chaddha”, playing a supporting role as a woman on a train. In an interview, she revealed how she felt when she was offered a film role and the opportunity to work with actor Aamir Khan. she says,
It’s a big banner movie and I’m excited. I am forever grateful to the universe for providing me with the opportunity to be a part of this beautiful film. I am extremely happy to be working with Aamir Khan, the perfectionist of Bollywood. Working with Aamir sir was one of my bucket list and now it feels like my dream has finally come true. I also believe in the saying “Kisi cheez ko shiddat se chaaho toh saari qaayenaat usey tumse milaane mein lag jaati hai”. God is merciful and I am so happy. ”

- Araya is mentioned as Deepti Sharma in the end credits of some TV shows. She calls Deepti her alter ego. She changed her name from Deepti to Aaryaa because she liked the name Aaryaa. She also has an Instagram account named Deepti Sharma where she often posts her clicked pictures of animals, architecture and nature. In an interview, she said of her name change:
We do not have the right to choose our name at birth because we receive it from our parents. It took me a while to decide to change my name. Since childhood, I have been fascinated by the name Aaryaa. I always thought that if I had a daughter, I would name her Aaryaa. But then I thought, why not keep it to myself and call it by the name I prefer to hear for the rest of my life. Aaryaa is another name of Goddess Durga Maa and Parvathi. It also means power and is associated with abundance, wealth and happiness. It sounds very positive and fits my personality and aura. ”
- According to Aaryaa, she had a huge crush on Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar when she was a teenager. She and her family used to call him Raju. She called him “Basspan ka Pyaar” in her social media post.

I came from London seven years ago to make a film. However, film projects don’t just happen. One has to work hard, remain committed to your craft and never give up on your dreams. I loved doing television and it helped me survive in Mumbai and improve my acting skills. I was auditioning all the time and one day I got a call to audition for this movie and everything clicked. Life is full of surprises and I am looking forward to making my mark in Bollywood. ”
