Aatish Kapadia is an Indian television director, lyricist, dialogue and script writer, and actor. He is best known for writing the script of the popular Star Plus television series “Khichdi” (2002).

- He revealed in an interview that when he was a teenager, his family went from being wealthy to bankruptcy. After this, problems began to arise in his family. To take a break, he would often sit by a Champa tree near his home and observe the behavior of passers-by, from which he would create characters for his plays and TV series.
