Abby Lee Miller has once again drawn criticism.
Former Dance moms star has been called out for seemingly stating that she is attracted to “high school football players” during an appearance on The Sofia Franklyn Show Sofia with F podcast.
The moment in question happened while Miller, 57, was talking to Franklin, 31, about Tom Cruise’s famous white chocolate coconut Bundt cake from Doan’s Bakery. Afterwards, Miller asked Franklin if she had seen Cruise’s 1983 film All the right moveswhich she noted portrays the Oscar nominee as a “high school football player.”
“Oh, that’s my downfall. I like high school football players,” Miller continued. “I still like them.”
While Franklyn noted that she likes grown-up “coaches,” Miller doubled down and said, “Not the one who was in high school, but the one who is.” Franklyn then closed the podcast episode right after that revelation.
A representative for Miller did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

After her comments, TikTok user Bites of Chaos said in a reaction video that Miller probably doesn’t “realize how people are going to take her answer.” Commenters expressed their disdain, with one noting they weren’t sure “if there was another way to accept that answer”, while another user said she “was very clear”.
“That fact she brought back and clarified is crazy,” said another commenter while another person wrote: “SPEAK ME?!”
Defending her, one user wrote: “I don’t think she meant the one who used to be a football player in the [high school] but the one that pays for football (I hope).”

She had been alone for years, she said earlier Party tonight that her “standards are too high”.
“I have very high standards in my mind as well,” she said in 2017, noting that she feels younger than she actually is. “I’m 22, 23, 24… it’s like an age.”
But Miller did express her interest in finding love one day, adding: “I make decisions all day, so it’s nice for a woman like me to go out to dinner and have a man take the menu and say, ‘Let me order. Other women I would be offended by. because of that, but I’m like, “Okay. Because I can’t make any more decisions today.” I want someone to rub my feet without asking.”
