Abhisha, also known as Jenila or Janeesha, is an Indian actress who predominantly appears in Tamil films and television serials. She is best known for her role as “Archana” in the television serial Thirumathi Selvam.

Abhisha was born in Chennai on Tuesday, April 16, 1985 (age 35 in 2020). Her star sign is Aries. Her hometown is Kottayam, Kerala. When Abhisha was in school, she used to watch the shooting of the serial Nancy, which was shot near her home. One day, the director noticed her and invited her to play the role of the heroine’s sister in his serial Criminal.

Abhisha started her acting career in 1997 with the TV serial Criminals. In the same year, she made her screen debut with the Tamil film Ettupatti Rasa. In 1999, she made her Malayalam film debut with the film Devadasi. In 2004, she made her Kannada film debut with the film Aagodella Olledakke.
Some of her popular Tamil films include Golmaal, Sethu, Arasatchi, Suyetchai MLA and Nam Naadu.
