ACT Employment initiation: students seek well-paying jobs, maintain 90% employment records

AKTU Placement 2023: Students of APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) have received lucrative job offers from renowned organizations in the country. According to reports, students received competitive salaries. The faculty internship unit held an enrollment campaign. In doing so, some of the largest Indian companies employed a total of 23 students.

It is important to remember that 7,000 students have applied for internships in 2023 since the beginning of the internship season. On a positive note, the university has maintained a 90% placement rate and students have been offered salaries ranging from 1 lakh to 20 lakh rupees per annum.

University students received significant job offers earlier this year, which attracted the attention of AKTU. 12 B-tech and MBA students from the school have received job offers with salary packages totaling Rs 4 lakh per annum. Professor Arunima Verma, who supervises the placement cell of AKTU, further stated that “200 students were placed and got jobs with decent salary during the tenure of approx.” Amazon gave a salary of Rs. 1.13 million per year as the institution’s largest placement in 2022.

AKTU Placement 2023: About APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University

AKTU was established in 2000 by the then state government and was earlier known as Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU). The university associates with organizations that implement technical education programs throughout the country.

Engineering, pharmacy and architecture are among the programs offered. According to information, 183 private colleges and 15 government institutions providing BTech programs are affiliated with AKTU. Meanwhile, AKTU is affiliated with 73 private and 7 public colleges for enrollment in the MTech program.
