Then she was hit by a massive wave and pulled into the swirling sea – leaving only her pink yoga mat behind.
The harrowing footage, which is too shocking to show, showed him struggling and thrashing in the onrushing currents.
It is known that the tourist, from the third Russian city of Novosibirsk, was visiting the second largest Thai island with her boyfriend.
Her body was found over the weekend two-thirds of a mile from where she was washed away.
Earlier, she told her followers on social networks that she loves this place and that she returns to it many times on trips to the island that she calls “home” and “the best place in the world”.
The stranger reportedly went into the waves to try to save her, but to no avail.
His fate is unknown.
The previously tragic Kamilla posted about this beauty spot: “I love Samui so much.
“But this place, this rocky beach, is the best thing I’ve ever seen in my life.
“Thank you, universe, for being here now.”

She went to the Lad Ko Lookout to watch the waves and was seen arriving nearby in a red car before apparently going to the rocks alone.
She took a pink foam mat from the trunk of her car before walking to a beauty spot with a panoramic view of the island.
Later, the mat was seen floating in rough seas off Koh Samui, one of Thailand’s most popular islands.
The raging sea hindered the rescue teams.
They arrived only 15 minutes after she was swept away by the sea, they could not do anything to the young actress.

Thailand is increasingly popular with Russian tourists, including men who want to avoid being forced into Vladimir Putin’s war against Ukraine.
About 1.48 million visited Thailand last year.
Chaiyaporn Subprasert, head of the Samui Rescue Centre, said warning systems had been set up on the island’s beaches.
“During the monsoon season, we constantly warn tourists, especially in high-risk areas such as Chaweng and Lamai beaches, where red flags indicate no swimming.
“Although the site of the incident is not a swimming pool, but a viewpoint for the landscape, the victim may have been caught off guard by the unexpected waves.”
Local authorities have set up a sea search and rescue center to coordinate ongoing efforts to locate the missing tourist and the man who is reported to have gone to rescue her.
