According to Devine, there was a point in time when he couldn’t wait to become a father for the first time.

“People are trying to scare you, but don’t be scared, people,” he warned. “I know every guy, they always have some uncle or some friend who says, ‘Get ready for your life to be over,’ and they try to get you out of it, but I love every second of it.”

One part of being a dad that Devine loves — and is surprised he enjoys so much — is changing his son’s diapers.

“It turns out I don’t mind changing diapers. I don’t mind one bit. It’s funny to me,” he explains. “This guy poops, man, and every day is a new adventure with that poop.”
