Adam Doleac officially became a dad!
The “Biggest Fan” singer, 35, and wife MacKinnon revealed via Instagram on Tuesday that they welcomed their first child, a boy named Jack.
Adam and MacKinnon shared a joint post that included several photos of their little bundle of joy. The first photo shows the excited parents next to their newborn son in his stroller outside the hospital.

More photos included sweet shots of MacKinnon smiling with Jack lying on her chest as she remained in a hospital bed. In one photo, Adam is seen next to MacKinnon’s bed as the new parents smile for the camera, while in another photo he holds his swaddled son.
The couple also included short videos of their son, such as a close-up of Adam holding a Polaroid of MacKinnon and Jack. He pulls back the photo to capture a quiet moment between mother and son in real time.

“Welcome to the planet, Jack Mackinnon Doleac. 3/23/24 9 lbs, 6 oz. We already love you more than we ever knew we could,” Adam began in the caption. “@macdoleac I’m totally in awe of you. You’re already the best mom to our (not so) little boy. Our lives will never be the same and there’s nothing more exciting than that 🩵🥹.”

Speaking to PEOPLE in January, Adam and MacKinnon revealed they’re expecting a boy and talked about how they’re looking forward to all the memories they’ll have with their child, the two explained that while their minds were overflowing with ideas for their son and their family of the future, they also enjoyed the moment.
“I think we’re most excited to be parents at all! It’s a dream we’ve both always had, and it’s wild to think it’s only a matter of weeks,” Adam said at the time.
“I often hear that having a baby turns your world upside down. While for some it can be more of a scary thing, I think we’re both very excited about the upheaval and everything that comes with it.”

The couple first revealed their exciting baby news in December, telling PEOPLE they can already envision life on the road as a family.
“We talk about it all the time. The music industry is tough and unpredictable and anything but easy, but it’s definitely our dream to be able to bring a separate bus and tour the country with our little family,” Adam said.
“I know if the fans wanted, MacKinnon would be at every show. I think she has more fans than I do,” he laughed. “But we love what we can do together. Our communication, our lives are just easier and better when we are able to be together.”
“We’re praying and trying to manifest that time together with our family, and that this music that’s coming out will bring us to that point where we’re going to have those experiences together.”
