Since 2002, he has been active as an artist. That year, he made a big cameo in his first film, playing St. Benedict the Student in the movie Emperor’s Club. He appeared in Learn to Hip Hop: Volume 2 in 2003. In February 2008, Sevani appeared in Step Up 2: The Streets, the second part of the Step Up film series, produced by Touchstone Pictures. The film focuses on a group of deputies who form a dance ensemble and fight their way around town.
In May 2009, it was confirmed that Adam G. Sevani would reprise his role as Moose in the planned third installment of the Step Up trilogy. The film was shot in New York with a budget of 30 million dollars. Step Up 3D focuses on Moose and his best friend Camille Alyson Stoner who travel to New York to attend college until Sevani’s character becomes involved in the underground film scene.
He has appeared in music videos such as Mase’s “Inhale, Stretch, Shake”, Will Smith’s “Switch”, T-Pain’s “Congregation” and NLT’s “That Girl”. Additionally, he choreographed NLT’s music video for “Karma”. In 2006, he received an actor’s nod for Kevin Federline’s performance at the Teen Choice Awards.
He also formed AC/DC, or the Adam/Chu Dance Crew, with Jon Chu and several Californian musicians who made celebrity appearances.
