Adam Gase is an American football coach. Adam Gase has always been fascinated by football and wanted to become a professional player. However, he was unable to continue his career as a player.
He was a member of his high school team, Marshall High School. Later, while still a student at Michigan State University, he began his coaching career. He helped the professional staff as a student assistant.
After graduating from Michigan State, he joined coach Nick Saban at LSU for the 2000 season. In his first season, he served as a defensive graduate assistant and assisted with recruiting. For the next two years, he worked as a recruiting assistant for the Tigers.
After leaving LSU, he worked as a scouting assistant for the Detroit Lions, where he was hired by Steve Mariucci. During the 2005 season, he worked as an assistant forward as well as an assistant scout.
Under head coach Rod Marinelli, he was promoted to offensive quality control coach in 2006. Under new coach Mike Martz, he was promoted to running backs coach the following year.
He joined the San Francisco 49ers as an offensive assistant coach after Mike Martz. He continued his journey with the Denver Broncos, with whom he won Super Bowl 50. His next position was offensive coordinator for the Chicago Bears.
