Adam Derek Scott, better known as Adam Scott, was born in Adelaide, Australia on July 16, 1980. He is also known as ‘Scotty, The Great Queenslander.’ He is currently 43 years old and an Australian citizen. Cancer is his zodiac sign. He is also the son of Phil Scott (father) and Pam Scott (mother) (mother). When it comes to his siblings, he has one sister, Casey Scott Malone.
He went to Lady George Kindergarten in primary school and started playing golf under his father’s coaches at the age of four. After a strong start on the European Tour in 2000, he turned pro. His professionalism led him to the European Tour in 2001. In his debut professional season, he won the Alfred Dunhill Championship in Johannesburg. The following year, he joined the American tour and started winning competitions.
In 2003, he became the youngest winner of the Player’s Championship. In 2006, he won the US Tour Championship. He was the third highest paid golfer in the world. The following season, he climbed to No. 3 and won the Byron Nelson.
In 2009, he was ranked as high as 76th due to physical and emotional problems.
