At the age of 13, he started going to the gym. At the age of 14, he expressed his desire to participate in bodybuilding competitions to his fitness coach. In response, the coach gave him some pills and powders, suggesting that they would be more effective if taken before training. When he shared his coach’s advice with his parents, his mother asked his coach for further questioning. The coach assured her the pills were just multivitamins, an explanation that convinced her. Adi took pills and powder for three weeks as instructed by his coach. However, he quit the gym when his parents discovered the supplements were harmful. In 2022, he participated in the Naresh Surya Classic bodybuilding competition.
