Adele Celebrates Rich Paul’s Daughter’s College Graduation with Rare Nod: 'I Love You, Darling'

Adele sends some love to her “stepdaughter!”

During her performance in Las Vegas on May 17, the 36-year-old singer took a moment between songs to congratulate her longtime love Rich Paul’s daughter, Reonna Simone Paul, on her graduation, a fan-filmed video shows.

At Friday’s show — part of her popular Weekends With Adele residency at The Colosseum, Caesars Palace — the “Easy on Me” singer said, “My stepdaughter’s graduation is this weekend.”

“Her name is Reonna,” the musician said of the Clark Atlanta University graduate, adding, “I love you, honey. Congratulations.”

The 16-time Grammy winner also revealed to the crowd that Reonna is the first member of her family to graduate from college, adding: “How amazing is that? It’s a f—— vibe.”

“So everyone’s in Atlanta celebrating,” she added of the new graduate’s loved ones. “And obviously I’m here with you — I wouldn’t be anywhere else — but I love you, baby. I love you!”

Celebrating her own graduation on Instagram, Reonna, who studied psychology at an HBCU in Atlanta, wrote: “It was really CAU… The gems I carry from this experience are priceless. This experience was truly a dream.”

“In the beginning, I had no direction of who I would be or where I wanted to go during my graduation here. When I finally found my way… there was no looking back,” she continued. “Thank you CAU for the culture, community, opportunities and life experiences that money can’t buy. I am forever indebted to Clark Atlanta University. We did it.”

Adele — who has an 11-year-old son, Angelo, with ex-husband Simon Konecki — has been publicly dating Rich, 42, since July 2021.

Ahead of the “Hello” artist’s 36th birthday earlier this month, sources exclusively told PEOPLE that she couldn’t be happier with her career, relationship with Rich and life as a mother.

“Adele loves to perform and she loves her audience,” a music insider said of the singer’s recent shows in Las Vegas, adding that she was “happy with her stay.”

The insider also said that her relationship with the sports agent is “solid”.

“They help each other and are good partners,” the source said, adding that Adele “loves being with him.”

Another source echoed that, telling PEOPLE that Adele is “happy and enjoying her life as a parent and her time with Rich.” The couple “love to laugh” and “inspire each other,” the source added.

Months before, as rumors swirled about the singer and sports agent’s November 2023 marriage, an insider told PEOPLE that Adele was “ecstatically happy with Rich and has never been more driven, inspired and confident.”

The source added: “We all want to be as happy as Adele.”
