Adele says “hello” to Halloween!
On Friday, the singer-songwriter, 35, gave her usual Weekends with Adele show in Las Vegas a spooky twist, taking the stage at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in a gothic look that fans have compared to Morticia Addams.
For a chilling ensemble, Adele wore a floor-length velvet black dress with a long train, a vamp collar and a glittering silver belt. She completed the look with Morticia-style glamor – a smokey eye, cool tones and a long, sleek wig.

The ensemble wasn’t entirely different from her usual stage look (which often includes dramatic make-up and floor-length black dresses), but the addition of a dark, wavy wig that touched the singer’s hips took her outfit from glamorous to spooky – and prompted fans to compare her to The Addams Family the matriarch.
Several users on Xu (formerly known as Twitter) shared footage of the spooky show, which also featured a haunted house and lamp-shaped backdrop, using the hashtag #ADELEOWEEN.
In one clip, Adele revealed that she had never dressed up for one of her concerts before — and joked that she might not look like herself in photos and videos taken at the show.
“Do you mind that I’m in a fancy dress, like, dressed up? Do you mind?” she asked the audience, who cheered loudly in response.

The “Easy on Me” singer also shared that she had to give up one spooky accessory.
“I wanted to wear fangs. I only did the fangs for Halloween — not that I’m here as a vampire or anything,” she told the crowd. “I did a sound check with them and I was buzzing.”
“And so I thought, ‘I can’t not look like me and not sound like me,'” she added.
After scraping her fangs, the Grammy winner took the stage to sing classics including “Love in the Dark,” “Hello” and “Rumour Has It.”

Earlier this month, Adele announced the final extension of her Las Vegas residency.
The “Skyfall” singer was originally scheduled to end her run in November of this year, but will now hold another 32 dates in 2024.
The last part of Weekend with Adele will start in mid-January. Starting January 19, Adele will perform at the Colosseum every Friday and Saturday night until the end of March. After leaving in April, it will continue on May 17th and officially end on June 15th.
In a post on Instagram, the singer-songwriter expressed how excited she is to continue the residency — and how impressive the concerts have been.
“This residency, these performances changed my life,” she wrote along with a compilation of clips from the residency. “I desperately needed to fall in love with performing live again, and I did. I needed to reconnect with my songs and remember what they meant to me, and I did!”

She continued: “Being on stage over the last year so up close and personal with the audience again after all these years has been a truly remarkable and invigorating experience that I will never forget. All the hilarious, soulful, wild and heartbreaking interactions we had are etched in my mind for a lifetime.”
“The looks on your faces, seeing you laugh and cry together singing your heart out and piling up bags of confetti,” she wrote. “All the Simi dolls, friendship bracelets, flowers, facetime calls and flags. It’s crazy how happy a show full of sad songs can be!! I felt and learned so much about myself and you. Everything I thought was terrible was humanized.”
“Mostly though, I realized how much I really enjoy being on stage, that I’m damn good at it and it’s 100% where I belong!” Adele concluded. “So let’s go one last time before I turn into a showgirl forever! I love you and see you on the other side soon x.”
