Yes, I signed for The Insider – it was a dream come true when I got the call that I had been offered the role. The first season of The Insider was so thrilling that I could have stayed away from it. But as the series progressed, I felt it was best to opt out. The role I was offered had no substance and my instinct told me not to mess around. My screen time would also be minimal. I always want to do roles that challenge my acting skills, so if the role is powerful, I don’t mind having less screen time, but I want to leave a lasting impression on the audience – and you don’t necessarily have to do a full-blown feature film to do that. I try to look for tasks that give me an adrenaline rush.”
