On May 22, 2023, he was found unconscious in the bathroom of his 11th-floor apartment in Lashkaria Heights Building, Oshiwara, Mumbai. One of his friends and the building’s janitor rushed him to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead. According to some sources, he died of a drug overdose. When one of his friends was asked about the overdose, the friend said:
Aditya does not take drugs. Another friend found him unconscious in the bathroom and worked with a caretaker to take him to a nearby hospital. He may have died from hitting his head on the floor, or he may have had a heart attack. The police have launched an investigation and we are all awaiting the autopsy report. Let’s wait together until we come to a conclusion. “
