Lip reader Nicola Hickling told The Sun that the young prince says: “We look out for each other.”

The clip, which was posted on the Prince and Princess of Wales’ Instagram account today, promotes the royal carol service which will be shown at 7.30pm on Christmas Eve.

It shows the ceremony as it took place on December 6 at Westminster Abbey, with a number of royals in attendance including Kate’s three children, Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis.

In a published introduction to the program, the princess explains how love and empathy should extend far beyond the holiday season and advocates the importance of kindness and forgiveness.

This follows a difficult year for the family with Prince William calling 2024 “the hardest year of my life”.

It comes after Prince Charles’ cancer diagnosis and Princess Catherine’s shock cancer announcement.

The year has been described as an “annus horribilis” – one of the worst years the royals have faced.

In a sweet moment at the end of the clip, Kate exchanged a tender look with her youngest and gave him a loving smile, turning her words of love into action.

In an Instagram post, the caption read: “This service reflects the importance of love and empathy, and how much we need each other, especially during the most difficult times of our lives.

– Thank you to everyone who was part of this year’s celebration.

Her Royal Highness released a pre-recorded introduction to Christmas carol services emphasizing the importance of unity.

In a personal introduction, Kate shares: “Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year, it’s a time for presents, tinsel and mince pies, but it’s also a time to slow down and think about the deeper things that connect us all.”

The princess explains how love and empathy should extend far beyond the holiday season and advocates kindness and forgiveness.

She smiles at Prince Louis as he reportedly says “let’s look out for each other”, echoing her sentiments.

Kate asked her friend Lady Gabriella Windsor to help her plan the touching service, which will be broadcast on ITV.

She was offered an advisory role on the team around musical performances throughout the service and accepted, excited to be involved in the planning.

Kate was reportedly very grateful for her friend’s contribution and the pair were able to reflect on the tough year they’ve had together.

After the opening words of the princess, the Scottish actress Kelly Macdonald will perform at the mass and will lead the rest of the program.
