SHAMELESS star Tina Malone has announced that her husband Paul Chase has tragically passed away this morning at the age of 42.
The actress, 61, was “completely devastated and heartbroken” after confirming the sad news on social media.

Grieving wife Tina wrote x: “It is with a broken heart that I write this. My husband Paul Chase Malone passed away this morning, we are completely devastated.”
The post was flooded with messages of support and well wishes from devastated fans.
“So sorry this Tina sending my love to you and your family,” one posted.
“I’m so sorry Tina. I’m so sorry for your loss. I was in the army with Paul, top man,” wrote another.
“Tina, I’m so sorry to hear that, I’m sending you all my love and condolences,” the devastated fan shared.
Tina and Paul got married for the first time in 2010 after two years of dating, and their daughter Flame was born when Tina was 50 years old.
Last year, the actress told Closer: “Paul and I still have so much passion, after 13 years you know each other so well.
“Still gives me butterflies!”
Tina, who played Mimi Maguire in Shameless, also announced in 2020 that their relationship was back on track after a short time apart, and revealed that “the love is never gone.”
Speaking to Closer about her marriage, Tina said: “The love never went away, we’re working on things now, our problems were exacerbated by depression, but I’ve learned that in hard times you have to stick together, not separate.”
The actress previously caused controversy when, at the age of 54, she announced that she wanted to become a mother again with Paula.
Speaking on Loose Women, she told the panel: “I’ve always wanted a boy, and…
“[My daughter] Plamen said he wanted a brother…”
Tina had planned to use a surrogate to have a child, and previously told The Sunday People: “Some will say I’m selfish and irresponsible to have another child at 54.
“They will moralize and abuse me – even more for choosing the gender of our baby – and everyone is entitled to their opinion.
“But I don’t care what they think.”
Tina also has another daughter named Danielle from a previous relationship.
Speaking about their decision to use a surrogate, Tina admitted that Paul would not allow her to risk her life for another child.
When she was pregnant with Flame, Tina developed preeclampsia.
Paul explained: “I couldn’t let Tina risk another pregnancy. Flame and I love her too much.”

The couple had a daughter together through IVF when Tina was 50 years old.
Flame was born on December 15, 2013.
In 2017, Tina revealed that she wanted to become a mum again with Paul – and that she would be choosing the gender of her baby.
She told The Sunday Mirror: “Some will say I am selfish and irresponsible to have another child at 54.
“They will moralize and abuse me – even more for choosing the gender of our baby – and everyone is entitled to their opinion.
“But I don’t care what they think.”
