He made his Bollywood debut in 2020 when he collaborated with filmmaker Mohit Suri on the title song of the film Malang. Akull Tandon is reportedly very close to Mohit Suri.When asked about his music album in an interview, Akull claimed

Akull Tandon also collaborated with Arijit Singh as the composer of the song “Tera Hua” from the film Cash.
In an interview, while sharing his experience of working with Arijit Singh, he said,
Everyone loves him, and if you’re a composer, he’s probably at the top of your wish list. I have very fond memories of meeting him for the first time and then recording his vocals for this song. We recorded the song in his studio. He is one of our finest musicians and I am honored to have had the opportunity to work with him.
Apart from producing albums, Akull has also collaborated on music with Hardy Sandhu, Prakriti-Sukriti and Shaal Mali.
