Al Trautwig, a well -known sports athlete and a MSG net, is dead. He was 68 years old.
His son Alex told Associated Press that he died on Sunday, February 2nd, in his home in Long Island for cancer complications.

“But we lost a lot more than that. He was not only a friend, but a mentor and teacher. He was personally one of my biggest support resources when I moved in this career,” Hahn continued.
Trautwig’s broadcast career began in the 1980s when he managed the Play-by-Play for NHL coverage of USA Network and hosted Sportite to ABC Sports.
Furthermore, he proved his versatility when he worked as a report on the ABC Sports Cave, coverage Indianapolis 500 in the late 1980s. He also anchored the coverage of the US Open, Tour de France, New York City Marathon, Iron Man competitions, international gymnastics events and Baseball Little League.

Trautwig also worked 16 Olympic Games and won various Emmy.
One of his most striking jobs came when he started working with MSG Networks. There he hosted the show before and postgame New York Yankees, Basketball Games Knicks, Hockey Games Rangers and Jets Journal.
