Alakh Pandey (Physics Wallah) is an Indian online educator and motivational speaker. He is best known for being the founder and CEO of Physics Wallah, an online education technology platform.

Alakh Pandey was born on Wednesday, October 2, 1991, in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh (31 years old as of 2022). His zodiac sign is Libra. He was educated at Bishop Johnson School and College, Allahabad (2010). In 2011, he started studying Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at Harcourt Butler University of Technology, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. When Arah was in class 11, he started teaching at an educational institution in Allahabad. There, his salary was Rs. 5000 per month. After working there for a few years, he discovered that offline courses had less impact on students. In 2016, he decided to start a YouTube channel through which he would provide free online courses to students. He named his channel “Physics Wallah – Alakh Pandey” and started uploading physics lectures on his channel.
Initially, his videos got some views and then he decided to improve the quality of his lecture content and for this he purchased the study material from Kota, Rajasthan and used it in his lectures. Slowly, his videos began to attract more views.

In 2018, he provided study material for Class 10, 11, 12 and IIT JEE/NEET exams through his mobile app Physica Wallah. Within four days of the launch of the app, more than 35,000 people have registered for courses offered on the app.

On October 30, 2022, Indian YouTuber Aman Dhattarwal uploaded a video on his YouTube channel, accusing Alakh of poaching his students and teachers. He also provided the same valid evidence on video. Soon after the video was uploaded, fans of Aman and Arah started a comment war in the comment section of the video.

- When he was a child, his family’s economic conditions were very poor. When he was studying in the third class, his father sold part of the house because his salary was not enough to support the family’s financial expenses. Later, my father sold the entire house and the family moved to a rental apartment in a ghetto neighborhood. When Aulakh was in Grade 6, he would often cycle about 5 kilometers to tutor younger children. He received Rs. 200 is fine. While studying in Class 8, he started tutoring students in Class 5. In class 11, he joined an academy called Achievement Academy as a tutor.
