Alamgir Khan Tareen was born in 1961 in Multan, Punjab, Pakistan (died 63 years old). He completed his education from CCH: Cadet College, Hasanabdar, Punjab, from 1971 to 1976. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and his master’s degree from Yale University in Connecticut. He was found dead by his maid Alamdar, who became suspicious when Alamgir knocked on his door several times but did not open his room. The maid informed the police, who then moved the body to a local hospital.
Police allegedly found a suicide near his body, in which Alamgir reportedly mentioned a disease that drove him to commit suicide. After the news of his death spread, many people paid tribute to him on social media platforms, while some expressed the need to pay attention to mental health.

- After his death, two suicide letters, one in English and the other in Urdu, went viral. It is claimed that both books were written by him; however, many people claim that both are false.
- His alleged fiancé Shazo claimed after his death that he did not have any serious medical condition; however, she did not give any reason for his suicide.
