Alexis Mac Allister was born on 24th December 1998 in Santa Rosa, La Pampa, and hails from a footballing family. His older brothers, Francis and Kevin, are also footballers, and their father Carlos Mac Allister, along with their uncle Patricio Mac Allister, are retired footballers as well.
The Mac Allister name has its roots in Scotland, but Alexis’s more recent ancestry can be traced back to Ireland. In an earlier interview, he revealed that some of his ancestors migrated to Argentina from Ireland, and he is aware of his connections to Scotland.
